Sugar Pine is the tallest and largest of North Americas Pine trees reaching heights of 260’ and above. It is revered for is uniform grain, sweet smell and good stability for the making of patterns, millwork and other wood items. Wider and longer lengths are attributed to Sugar Pine due to its robust nature in size. It finishes well, takes a stain, and is also dimensionally stable when exact specifications are required. Stocked in 4/4 thru 12/4 and a variety of grades.
